There are different sites or ways that you can secure a vaccine and we recommend trying all of them until you are able to secure an appointment.

HOW TO GET A VACCINE:
- Fishkill Recreation's Vaccine Help Form: (Only for 60+)
- Fishkill Recreation in collaboration with councilmember Gadsden has been assisting seniors secure a vaccine appointment. So far we have successfully secured vaccine appointments for 38 seniors and this number continues to grow each week.
- To sign up for this great program, please complete our FISHKILL RECREATION VACCINE HELP FORM. We will use this information to try and secure a vaccine for you. If you do not have a computer or are not proficient in how to use a computer, you can call our Rec Office at 845-831-3371 and we will help you complete the form over the phone.
- Dutchess County Vaccination Sites:
- At this time you can not sign up for a vaccine through Dutchess County. All you can do is complete their Vaccine Signup Form which places your name on a lottery and they will contact you if/when your name is drawn from the lottery. All seniors are encouraged to do this. Please click on Dutchess County Vaccine Signup Form to complete add your name to the lottery.
- New York State Sponsored Sites;
- New York State vaccination sites are open to all Phase 1a and 1b eligible individuals.
- To find out about available appointments at these sites:
- Call the New York State COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline: 1-833-697-4829 open 7am-10pm, 7 days a week
- Use the New York State “Am I Eligible?” online application at https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/
- Pharmacies:
- Hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Urgent Care, or Amulatory Care Providers
- Sun River Health - Amenia, Beacon, Dover, Poughkeepsie;
- Family Practice Center - Hyde Park;
- Veterans Affairs Hospitals and Clinics:
- CURRENT STATUS for the week of 3/1/21: The VA Hudson Valley is hosting walk-in vaccination clinics from 8:30am-3:30pm on Thursday, March 4 at the Castle Point and Montrose campuses. Veterans must be enrolled in the VA and be at least 65 years old, a frontline essential worker, OR diagnosed with an underlying high-risk health condition.
- Veterans can call 845-838-7668 or visit the VA.gov vaccination page for more information. Please be aware, due to high call volume, you may need to leave a message, but will be called back as soon as possible. You must be enrolled with the VA to receive the vaccine.
- If you’ve served in the military and would like to register for VA health care, please call 845-831-2000 and press 3.
- Unfortunately at this time, the VA is not vaccinating veterans’ spouses.
