FISHKILL TOWN-WIDE CLEAN-UP DAY

NO trucks such as U-Hauls, vans, utility trailers larger than the bed of pick-up truck will be permitted into the Highway Yard to dump their bulk debris. ONLY ordinary pick up trucks will be allowed.
Cleanup material must be separated by wood, metals, and soft miscellaneous items. CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Shredding Truck – Community Shred Event:
A Commercial Shredding Truck will be on site from 8am to 2pm. Each household is limited to (3) file boxes or (3) kitchen garbage bags (or containers of like size).
PLEASE TAKE NOTE
The following items cannot be accepted due to landfill restriction: Engine oil, lawn and garden chemicals (such as fertilizer), insecticides, pesticides, poisons, brush, leaves, drain cleaning chemicals and other caustic solvents, paint materials (such as latex or oil based paints, turpentine, shellacs, sealers, mineral spirits and other paint related materials), gasoline, kerosene, and other flammable liquids (including containers that were used for these products) aerosol cans and other pressurized tanks.
Tires will no longer be accepted at clean-up days. You may bring them to Royal Carting for a fee.
As per NYS Law Royal Carting DOES NOT accept electronic items (e-waste). For those wishing to dispose of such material, the County Hazardous Waste/E-Waste events can be found at:
