DESCRIPTION:
The Town of Fishkill will be hosting a hoops program for girls in the 5th-8th grade.
The program will take place at our Recreation Center that includes a full size basketball court. The goal is to teach the fundamentals of the game, encourage sportsmanship at all times; build character and confidence, and provide the youth a safe and fun environment to enjoy the game of basketball.
Space will be limited for these programs and a waiting list will be started once we have reached our maximum number of registrants. Unfortunately, we have turned players away in the past so please register early.

OTHER DETAILS:
- A Player Evaluation (Date TBA) will allow us to divide players into evenly matched teams.
- The games will run from December to about the middle of March (including playoffs)
- Each team will play at least 10 games plus playoffs.
- Practices will take place on weeknights at the Fishkill Recreation Center.
- Games will take place on the weekends (most likely on Saturdays) at the Fishkill Recreation Center.
- Divisions will be divided by grade.
