Wednesdays 9:30am-10:15am- *Classes will return in fall 2015*
$72 for 6 week session
Classes include a centering activity, breathing practice, movement mantras, poses, yoga games and quiet relaxation time.
Why Yoga for kids?
In yoga, quiet movement and breathing techniques reduce stress and focus the mind.
Yoga strengthens the body while improving balance and flexibility.
Gentle stretching on a regular basis is safest for muscles and ligaments, especially after long periods of sitting.
Yoga encourages students to be still and to use all 5 senses.
Our technological world is full of distractions. Yoga turns one's attention inward, increasing self-awareness and self-confidence in a non-competitive environment.
