The following is the policy and procedure to signup for the Fishkill Senior Center luncheons and trips. These activities fill up VERY FAST! A waiting list will be developed once we reach our maximum capacity for each respective activity or event. For a detailed list of luncheons and trips, please visit FishkillRecreation.com or pickup a booklet from the Recreation Office.

Membership Forms:
- To participate in any of our trips or luncheons, you must first become a member by completing a membership form.
- At that time, you will be required to provide proof of residency to be granted resident status in our system.
- Residency is not required to become a member; however, residents receive certain benefits, including priority registration for activities.
- A membership form only needs to be completed once, except during our routine updates when we may ask you to verify or update your information.

Trip Registration Form:
- A “Trip Registration Form” must be completed for each trip.
- We recommend completing this form before the sign-up date to speed up the signup procedure.
- You can access this form at the link above or by visiting the Rec Office.
- A registration form is not needed for our on-site luncheons and parties unless otherwise stated.
Location:
- Signups must be done in person at the Fishkill Recreation Center.
- We can not hold a seat for you over the phone.
Sign-Up Dates/Times:
- *Residents will be given priority during an initial sign-up period.
- Non-Residents can sign-up once the initial period concludes.

Reservation Guidelines:
- Individuals can sign up themselves plus one other friend/companion.
- The additional companion may be a resident or non-resident.
- Non-spousal companions must have separate check payment.
- Individuals may not signup more than one other person.
- If an individual is unable to be present during the signup period, a friend may register on their behalf.
Payment:
- Checks or Credit Card only.
- We do not accept cash or American Express
- Checks must be made out to “Town of Fishkill.”
- A 3% fee is charged to all credit card transactions. This charge cannot be refunded.
Cancellations & Refunds:
- Cancellations must be processed through the Rec Office. Please do not try to “give away” your ticket to a friend if you are unable to attend.
- Refunds are only given if we are able to fill your vacancy with someone from our waiting list.
- The 3% charged to credit card transactions cannot be refunded.
Proof of Residency:
- Proof of residency is required to register during the resident-only registration period.
- Once your residency has been verified, it will be recorded in your account, so you won’t need to provide documentation each time you sign up.
- Please note that we may request updated proof of residency during our routine record maintenance.
- Falsification of residency documentation may result in removal from programs and forfeiture of fees.
- Resident Definition:
- Residency is defined as a permanent, primary dwelling within the city/town limits.
- A resident is someone who pays their home property taxes to the Town of Fishkill.
- Temporary stays or short-term leases may not qualify.
- Accepted Forms of Proof:
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID card
- Property tax bill (current)
- Residential lease agreement (current, signed & dated)
- Current mortgage statement
- Recent utility bill (electric, gas, water, internet – dated within 90 days)
- Voter registration card
- Vehicle registration (current)
- P.O. boxes are not accepted as proof of residency.
