INTRODUCTION TO RUGBY
For boys and girls entering 1st through 8th Grade
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: A coed NON CONTACT summer youth program put together by collaboration with USA Rugby, Hudson Valley Youth Rugby Inc., Town of Fishkill, and the City of Beacon. Sessions will focus on rugby fundamentals such as rules of the game, passing, kicking, and offensive/defensive strategy. No experience is expected or required. *Season Kick-Off Orientation for all ages:
Wednesday July 9th 6:30 – 7:30 PM at Maurer-Geering Park, Fishkill
A FREE orientation open to all ages interested in learning more about the great sport of rugby. Join us to meet the organizers, current rugby players, and coaches. Fun rugby games as well as outlines for the program, answers to questions, and discussion of the history and long range plans for Hudson Valley Youth Rugby. Registration for the summer program will also be taking place.
