DESCRIPTION:

• A short 3 session program for 3rd through 8th grade girls. 

• Sessions will focus on instructional skill building and allow the girls to compete against only girls.

****ALSO INCLUDED: We have also arranged for the Varsity girls basketball coach from John Jay High School to be our guest Coach during one of the sessions. Coach Brooks will put our kids through some of his varsity drills and he is also planning on bringing some of his varsity players to come and participate as well. Will be a great experience for the girls to look up to the girls who are currently playing at the next level and possibly the collegiate level. Coach brooks will then spend 15-20 minutes talking to them about the importance of keeping good grades in school, girls basketball at the high school level, and what it takes to get to that level.

The sessions will run Tuesdays June 1,8,& 15 from 6:00-7:00 here at the Rec Center. The cost is $10 per player. To register, just email Coach Jay Maietta at tofrecreation2@fishkill-ny.gov.  Please include your daughter’s name and current grade.

COST: $10 per player.  Bring the $10 (check or cash made out to Town of Fishkill) to the first session on June 1st.
